I am a student living at home rent- free. In fact because I have no income, they pay for everything.

    I still live at home and have to dress to my parents' wishes which means skirts and dresses only for example

    you don't have to do what they tell you. they don't have to support you now that you are an adult.

    I don't see where is the problem ,your parents wants what's best for you ,,telling you what to wear isn't because they wanna bug you it's because they love you ,unless they are just being bossy and telling you what to do all the time ,then you have to stand up for yourself.

    do they feed you?
    do they clothe you?
    do they provide a roof over your head?
    do they provide for your healthcare?

    If there paying for your clothes...well yeah, you want different then what they buy you then get a job and wear what you can pay for(might be happier with your parents choices)
