Well since heaven and hell are abstract concepts, worrying about getting into or avoiding either of them should not be the primary focus of anybody. Focus on taking care of yourself, taking care of other people, and improving yourself at every possibility.

It is not that we will either focus on our current life or on the hereafter and we have to pick on! Actually it is impossible to do so because both are very connected, if you will focus on heaven then you will have to focus on your current life to reach it.

People should just concentrate on living, and those actions will speak for themselves when the time does come to leave this world.

I believe that people should focus on being more loving and caring for others. In my view, that shouldn't require a reward.
Don't listen to the preachers...read and follow what Jesus taught.

A place that doesn't exist? Go your hardest if you're into delusions.

Hell is more pleasant than heaven, because
greater masses of people live there with all
the funs they had on earth. After days of hard labor
they eat well and sleep well.
While the angels suffer boredom upon the clouds.
Perhaps, many of them are now leaving that place
to live among us again and making propaganda
    for happy hell!
It is really funny for kids like me who keep on wondering
    about such illogical fancies!
Some people tell me that hell and heaven are only
mental conditions, so I am looking for authoritative Books.

people are more concerned with their livelihoods here and now and i don't blame them one iota , its more relevant at the moment , we live in the physical sense also ,
and our needs must be met , i'll worry about the after life later

Yes, if you firmly believe that there's a seat reserved especially for you ,,strategically based on your own individual contributions in life!

Yes, but not to the extent of being paranoid. People shouldn't think about it 24/7.

Neither, people should be focused on enjoying their life. Nothing to enjoy after it's over.
