No, why should we? We found weapons there, chemical ones, just no nuclear ones. As you also know, mustard gas has been used before in terrorist attacks, could you imagine if they obtained one of the bombs left over from Saddham's cache? IT would be catastrophic. These weapons that could be used, recycled for future use and distributed to the Taliban. Contrary to what you might believe, Saddham was also working with the group that attacked America, as can be seen if you google the journal of one of Iraw's intelligence agents who had been captured in 2003, never mind, I'll just post it for you here. He wrote about meetings with the head of the Taliban. "that in 1999 the Taliban welcomed "Islamic relations with Iraq" to mediate among the Taliban, the Northern Alliance and Russia, and that the Taliban reciprocated with an invitation to Iraqi officials to visit Afghanistan.<br />
<br />
The notebook deals extensively with the meetings between a prominent Taliban supporter and former Saddam regime officials."<br />
<br />
Also in said notebook - "the Taliban under the leadership of Mullah Omar was seeking Iraq's support in mediating with Russia and the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan. This translation reveals that the Saddam regime had expectations of assistance from the Taliban, and that the two agreed to a secret intelligence relationship. The Iraqi official tells the Maulana that they want the Taliban to support Iraq against U.S. actions. They also discuss their common enemy: the United States."<br />

So yeah, why should we apologize again?

Exactly what stuff are you talking about that was found ... the stuff that even old dubbya joked about one time at some function .. or are you talking about the stuff that was found and the right would have gloated until today the war was justified ... or maybe you're talking about the stuff that was found but chalk dust would cause more harm than the stuff that was recovered because it was so badly degraded ... Do you really think that if Saddam had those weapons handy he would have just sat on them this time around knowing the end was near for him ... he would have released everything he had in that so called arsenal before it was recovered ... face it the United States was sold a bill of goods and Dubbya was going after an all talk no action dude because the guy threatened his daddy.

So, you're entire post is just you speculating as to what Saddham would have done in the face of evidence. Great.

Ok, and now you can re-read what I said, English - "We found weapons there, chemical ones, just no nuclear ones. As you also know, mustard gas has been used before in terrorist attacks, could you imagine if they obtained one of the bombs left over from Saddham's cache? IT would be catastrophic. " Where, pray, did I claim that weapons of mass destruction were found? I claimed exactly what is claimed in the following - Wikleaks documents - http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2010/10/wikileaks-show-wmd-hunt-continued-in-iraq-with-surprising-results/. So thank you, English, for shoving words in my mouth.
