Should you express your love to someone only if you're pretty sure that he/sh3 loves you too?

nope ... you need to come clean and be honest, without waiting, or one of two things will happen
you will lose the other person or be stuck without the other personLike (3)

I don't think I'd put down any definite rules about this, but it also depends on what your standards for "pretty sure" are. If they're really high (you are, after all, using the word "sure"), then this doesn't help anyone. Besides, I find that keeping it in just encourages the other person to keep it in as well. If the person is trustworthy enough that, even if they don't feel the same way, they wouldn't freak out about it, then why not tell them? If you keep it in, you just get to let it eat away at you some more. That's not very fun (this coming from a guy who kept his own interests in certain women in for literally years on end).
