Should you have to take down your profile?

If you have a profile on what is known more as a dating site but also offers test/quizzes, blogs, and other things including the option to state if you are or are not in a relationship, do you HAVE to take it down, SHOULD you take it done when you do enter a relationship? Why?

out of respect for the one you're with....

There are plenty of other sites that offer "test/quizzes, blogs," etc with out the dating element attached to it.

Well, look, if it's truly a multi-purpose site, or even if it's not, even if you just like to use it to socialize and do the quizzes or whatever, then stick with it.

If you want to be respectful to your other, just be sure to slap on a few warning labels in very large font. Already Spoken For. Not Looking to Date. Danger Will Robinson Danger. Do Not Pass Go Do Not Collect $200. My Boyfriend is Tony Soprano. Etc.

Why? It is lucky that we relatively have immense freedom here.
Your contribution is more important than your profile.
Finally, only your own life would count.

If it is a dating site then yes; if it is more of a friendship site then update it to include yoru new partner and make sure it is specific about being attached and looking for friends only; not sex or dates.

If you sold the goods (on approval), take down the advert.

If you are in a relationship you should take down your profile. It isn't fair to your current or anyone who is responding to your profile.

I feel that people that are using the site expect to find available people on the profiles. To find people there who are not even interested in dating is very frustrating.
