Should you pop a zit? Why or why not? And if not, how do you hide it?

of course not. but everybody does, including me. i'll never forget this kid in my class when i was in 5th grade. he had huge, yellow topped, pointy zits. i wanted to knock him down, get a tissue and get that nasty pus off his face so i wouldn't feel like i had to stare at them, like a deer at headlights. Mark Beswetherwick, are you still out there? do you still have yellow zits?

Mandy5367	Posted Feb 5th, 2009 at 5:58PM I have always popped them. I thought it was a good idea. But my acne was never anything horrible. I would get one, maybe two at a time and I would pop them because the sooner I popped them, the faster the marks went away and I'd have a clear face again. But I do not suffer from acne so you might be different. I'm pretty sure scientifically you are supposed to let them dry out and clear themselves on their own. Something like that. entrepguy	Posted Feb 5th, 2009 at 5:58PM If you are going to pop them, wash your hands and face right after, and put some vitamin E oil over it afterward to stop scarring. Technically though, you shouldn't pop them. Rated: +1Vote for this!
lyricalongings	Posted Feb 5th, 2009 at 5:58PM I, personally, don't pop them. I did one time, a few years ago, & now I have a scar. Popping doesn't always lead to scars, though. If you want to cover it up, you can buy a concealer made especially for covering up blemishes, scars, zits, etc. If you have a really good foundation, that might even work. Rated: +1Vote for this!
destiny420	Posted Oct 16th, 2008 at 1:47AM do not pop it! unless you really scrub your face and hands after, you will spread the bacteria and just cause more zits. and the redness will last longer than if you just let it be. put some clearasal on it and let it be Rated: +1Vote for this!
