No. If you work out in the morning, best to do it on an empty stomach and eat the rest of the day later. If you work out later, it's best off of a solid breakfast and a light snack. If it's in the evening definitely light before and after.

It's best to exercise right before or right after you eat because that's when your metabolism will work its fastest and its best.
If you eat right, you only need a half hour a day.
