I went through a relationship where my Ex cheated on me. There were many signs, which, individually can be ignored, but taken as a whole, add up to too many coincidences to be ignored. Its a long list. littleone7733 (below) answer covers many of them. Once you have lived through it, you are trigger happy afterward and see the signs in all your future relationships.

Being late too much...
Having to go out too much...
Working late too often...
Hairs on his clothing, car etc... (especially if they're not your color, or they are long and yours are short).
His sex drive increases a lot, or decreases a lot...
Computer activity such as dating sites etc... Cleaning his browser history etc...
Does he smell of things such as perfume, smoke (if you and/or he doesn't smoke) etc...
Using too much cash...
He breaks or cancel appt's with you...
He leaves the room or goes outside to take phone calls... (due to cell phones there aren't as many hang ups on calls to the house phone).
He is leaving earlier than usual for work...
He begins to work out when he hasn't before...
Some women can't hide it well when they see your guy out and about when he is with you. They are a tad too friendly. You need to pay attention to the female attention he receives to see if it is out of the ordinary...
He changes his wardrobe or begins to wear different things that are out of the ordinary for him...
He begins to take business trips (esp if he hasn't before). If he has always taken them, then it is much harder to figure out.
Does he want to try different things in the bedroom with you (when he used to only be vanilla)?
Does he only want to be vanilla with you in the bedroom (when he wasn't before)?

Nitpicking. Coming home late. Keeping their phone close and NOT letting you look at what's in it. Fake niceness and surprise gifts for no reason, like bringing you flowers at weird times. LYING. And HIDING their conversations.
