It is one day, suck it up tough guy. Hell, anyone who can give up all the things you did, and survive, can stand a day with the family. Good luck. I will be thinking of your suffering, and feeling sorry for you, the whole day. Will that help?

Well, okay then. As tomorrow isn't Thanksgiving here, and I don't have to work, I will spend the day thinking about my favourite Cylon and sending happy thoughts your way.

"zone out." They'll think something is bothering you then all you need to say is, " Oh nothing I was just thinking." Continue zoning out.

Tell them you're an air raid warden and that you have to check around the neighborhood periodically to make sure everyone's got their blackout shades down.
