Skinny women of E.P. do you agree with putting fat women down ? Guys too.?

Do you believe it's an act of a shallow person to judge someone because they are overweight/fat/obese even ? Whether it's due to health, or just plain over eating, what is your issue with them ?

It's acceptable to discriminate against fat people in our society. Fat people are the cause of all our problems. They eat all our food, use all our gas, and frighten our children.

Actually, most of the problem stems from misinformation. Most people don't know the truth about what causes weight gain and the proper way to reverse it. I don't know ANY fat people who are NOT trying to do something about their weight. They are just doing it wrong because of all the bull crap that we're told about how to lose weight. Plus, look at the way fat people are stereotyped. They're portrayed as ugly, smelly, stupid, lazy slobs. Whether or not I'm ugly is subjective, but I am far from stupid, I am a total workaholic, and I keep myself quite clean, thank you.

I don't know about other fat people out there, but I am in better shape than most skinny people I know, as I can do 90 minutes or more of intense workout without stopping.

It's not a good look at all, yet it's what society apparently demands. I don't think we can help the subconscious prejudices we all have, but we can try to fight them. Eating too much is obviously a problem, but only because it's dangerous to health. If people actually aimed for healthy weights we'd all be happier :) Rated: +6Vote for this!
