Not really. If America nukes China then its trade balance would massively and immediately improve and it's debts would be cleared for the most part. If China nukes America then it bankrupts itself.Like (1)

Okay, we can drop the Economic issue and address the issue of nuclear war in general. Nuclear capabilities in this day and age are much more of a deterrent than any type of real course of action.

You're thinking that China is like the US. If someone managed to get on the internet in China and hack a US reporter it's because that hacker was sitting in an air conditioned building being paid by the Chinese government to do it. It's not like the US where everyone has the freedom to access the outside world.
