I cook my porridge that way
I use farina wheat, a dry hot pepper like cayenne, a few slices of ginger, half-milk, half-water and a pinch of salt, slowly add the farina & stir often, let it cook slowly on a low temperature. Not your average Goldilocks porridge.
would rather have toast but thanks anyway
very good for ,health ,,diabetes ,,breakfast ,,
Aren't you supposed to cook it that way? :P
Ilike the cold meets hot thing...with molten raisins ...
Did you know oatmeal can trigger the brain to manufacture seratonin, a feel-good chemical? So eating oatmeal daily is supposed to be a natural mood booster, like a natural Valium. Go oatmeal! Have you ever tried steel-cut oats?
Haha. You're living proof! I need to get on that myself...maybe it would help me, too.
Sorry, I don't care for oatmeal. I like cream of wheat, or cream of rice.
