i was probably happiest when i was a little kid-going through all those popular pahses-pokemon cards/digimon cards/ beyblades LOL life was easy, fun i had NO responsibilities, my friends were my world and my family still got along-that was great! once i reached the 8/9th grade everything started to get ****** up in every aspect of my life...and now im on meds to keep me feeling "normal"

I'm 26 tomorrow but I would have to say my happiest years were when I was a kid, somewhere between the age of 5 and 10. Life was a real adventure then. I guess part of me cant cope with grown up responsibilities, or more so isn't ready to grow up yet :)

Interesting question -- I have lived a great life and look forward to more of the same. That is not to say it has been easy or fun; sometimes easy, other time not, sometimes fun, other times not.
I would have to say though that the happiest time in my life was probably at the age of 18. I had graduated from High School but attended one year of Prep School to get into the college of my choice. I worked part time, went to school but with little pressure, and I partied hard -- sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll! It was before HIV/AIDS, STDs were not rampant, free love was the catchword, and it was pretty acceptable to experiment with psychoactive substances. I had unlimited energy, great health, a hard body, and I lived in one of the great cities of the world. What more could a person ask for?
Today I am too "responsible," with too many obligations. I work too hard and too much, and have almost forgotten how to let go and have fun. My age is catching up to me and my body can no longer do the things it once was able to do. I'm not complaining. Life is good and I am a pretty happy and positive person, but its hard to compete with the year between May 1969 and June 1970.
