No, you cannot. You must instead realize that you are worth as much as you want to be worth to others. Your value to yourself reflects your known potential. For example look at the world's top athletes at the olympics. They're real good at doing stuff like jumping over poles using sticks, throwing discs, chucking spears, etc. We admire them not because they are 'unsurpassable' but because they have made an effort to be so good at what they do. The hidden meaning here is that they had as much self worth as you when they began training. The other hidden meaning is that you can be this good also, IF you want to. People ask what the meaning of life is sometimes. I think you don't know until you find the thing you care about most and cannot ignore. When you find that then lack of self confidence is no longer an impossible obstacle. You just try and try until you succeed because you know it's what you have to do to be truly happy.
