So, i'm going volunteering for a while, till i get a job. but in those kind of situations i am kinda shy, any advice?

i mean- when i was a student in college i was never fully comfortable there when volunteering.
AND i am going to the boss' house just to meet everyone while they have a staff meeting. I want to make a good impression!

    I've been volunteering with the local emergency service for over 15 years now. There's no better feeling me thinks....

    Good for you. So remember that the one thing volunteering ISNT about is you. Its about the people you will help and the skills you offer to deliver that help. Focus on those things at any meetings or group situations and you will be fine.
