A realistic relationship is one where you both know there are going to be bad times along the way, yet you still embrace them with open minds and hearts, and live by the phrase "Come what may". Because seriously; life's already one hell of a roller coaster ride, and being in love would just be making the ride a whole lot crazier (in a fun way, that is).

a realistic relationship has its ups and downs, is problematic at times, can make you want to scream, can leave you feeling breathless or drained; a realistic relationship is one where the other person enhances your life, but you don't live solely to be with this other person; you still have your own interests and friends.
