So now even Laura Ingram, a Republican, says Romney is losing? So what is Romney smoking?

Other conservatives are saying Romney is in trouble, and yet Mitt is insisting he's in the lead; does reality scare him that much?

turns out not so much; the media wants us to think so because a tie makes for better storylines and more ratings...

The only thing that matters is the final vote...and until it happens no one will know. Don't you remember Al Gore? You can lose even with a technical majority. This is "America" afterall.

that's my point....he has to get the actual numbers in those swing states to get the electoral college even if he has a technical majority nationally. Our system is rather unbalanced, outdated, and stupid if you ask me.

wow, hundreds of sources out there and you pick the one that agrees with you.

Gallup shows Romney up 6 nationally. Rassmussen says 5.

The question is electoral college. That's the big question mark. It's really a toss up.

The electoral college doesn't show anything. It's a scoring system - not a polling system. As for the "almost every contested state" that's not true at all.
