    I had the same rationale.

    Best - got a house (more space, kids have own rooms)
    Worst - got a house ( I am 8k in debt already besides the mortgage and I couldn't afford to take my vacation to see my side of the family with my son. This doesn't bother my wife at all but it bothers me a great deal)

    Many things happened. But I have a tie on both ends of the scale.
    Best - I fell in love / Got my first job (dream job)
    Worst - She didn't feel the same / Got fired due to a technicality
