Some advice please x?

As many of you know I am Transgendered, All know at work and 99% are fine and good friends, but its clearly apparent that there is a homophobe among us too. Encouraged by my managers I put two of my pictures up on the noticeboard. After several months they went missing, so i was encouraged to put another up. This I did , but 2 months later that went missing too. Another picture and, guess what?, its gone missing ( but this time a picture of a gay collegues was drawn on too.
So, what to do?
Management dont seem to care , nor take it seriously, should I? or should I forget it, or should I just keep putting new ones up?
Your advice please xx

Well just be yourself if you think they have a problum confront them and teel them you are no different than anyone else. That you have feelings to and just because you think that you are better than everybody else doesnot mean that you can bag on me!!

Definitely claim them on tax..I hada very special hand written/painted letter go missing from special friend...I never even got to read it...just enough to see he was in trouble in taipei and i needed to make contact..I never found the letter again when work mongrels threw it out on purpose..Such idiots exist unfortunately...I never heard from that friend again..Even revenge didn't get the letter back,...so really,..i'd say....do whatever you want,.....becos they might learn a thing or two about some of the things they lack (which is a lot)...If i was boss i would go for some surveillance and then drag them over some coals for it...In todays climate they would be on thin ice...Chin up,..and all credit to you:)

Noticeboard at work? Is this board for private use or company notices? My company only permits company notices and the such on our noticeboards. And I agree. I wish more people would keep private lives private at work. After that then go have at it.

Keep putting them up! Don’t let a bigot keep you down. That’s their issue not yours. You can always threaten the company with a hostile environment lawsuit. That usually gets management moving.

If only there was a way to put an exploding die pack on the photo like they do with money during a bank robbery. You would know who the culprit/bigot was.

:( that is very rude of the individual to deface and remove the photographs that do not belong to him/her. i would continue to put them up. if you know who the perp is and you would like to confront them, only do so if you feel comfortable or perhaps have some sort of meeting called to order with someone else present. i am sorry to hear that this is happening.

I am not sure what you mean by "notice" board. Evey company I have worked for only allowed business items to be posted on the board and everything posted had to go through human resources. Not knowing the whole situation- I have to question your managers agenda. Do others post photos on the board or Are they possibly telling you to do this as a mean practical joke? Personally, I would just put a picture or two up in my own personal workspace like you see in most workplaces. To be treated like everyone else start slowly and forllow the old saying....when in Rome....Good Luck,

Why don't you talk to the homophobe? I'm straight, but I was scared of transgendered people to, If you just show him that you can be professional, your manager will notice, and tell him to back off, if you're doing a crappy work ethic, then you probably won't get much help from your workmates.

Put them up and out of reach...In the middle of the board, tell them to go suck a lemon
