I know they're a completely different paths but I like working with children as much as I do love my drawing. It's just a hard choice. The only thing I'm worried about with teaching is I go to uni spend so much hard time to then change my idea of what I want to do.. I would love to consider a tattooing apprenticeship

Ink can get you regular income, but that is almost a separate culture. You will be pressured to have a lot done on you. It's not the interesting bunch it was 20 or 40 years ago. But you don't have to be a teacher, either. All of my closest artist friends from my youth make their livings from their art. In fact, the least talented of them all makes the best living. Of course, if you enjoy teaching, then there you go.
