It can be true for some.....people tend to put on their best face at first, but as time goes on and you learn more and more about them, their true self begins to surface!

Not for me, people usually like me a lot more after getting to know me. They can hate me on first impressions and then end up loving every new thing they discover.

yeah they are fake people - they act nice when you first meet them but they are not all what they seem as you get to know them - but there are a few that are actually REAL folks

No, but the more you get to know someone I guess the more you become aware of the faults they do have that aren't apparent at first glance. Doesn't mean they're not still basically nice, though.

I would say that people are what you want them to be until you get to know them (and then they are who they are). This leads to disappointment.. but you should have known better:)
