Camomile tea is a natural pain reliever. Since i'm allergic to a lot of medications I use it and it works great.

Stay away from caffeine. The only painkiller that has ever worked for me for menstrual cramps is naproxen sodium, which is the ingredient in Aleve. I buy the generic, and it always works for me. I am VERY grateful that you can get it over the counter now. And it's fairly cheap.
If you cramp with pretty much every cycle, then take note of which day in your cycle the cramps begin. Then take a naproxen sodium the evening before you normally cramp.
