Love will not cure a drinking problem, abuse, infidelity, or mental illness.

yes very sad and whats even more sad is I think most only think of loving themselves and their own happiness before they choose to love another and what makes that person happy

I always used to think that love is or would be enough. I'm 45 yrs old now and unfortunately I no longer feel or believe this. Two people who are really in love, depending on their childhoods, personalities, dispositions etc... may find out that while they love each other dearly, they simply aren't able to communicate well enough, match up well enough on an emotional level etc... to remain happily married for the long haul.

Nope... it's not. You both could love each other, which is hard enough to find, and still have loads of problems.
