    I made the venison tenderloins tonight. It is very lean. If cleaned properly it tastes just like beef. I don't like the hamburger though, very gamely.

    Deer meat can be good, if it's prepared correctly. But, it's not beef and doesn't lend itself to the same type of preparation. I don't know enough about how to prepare it or cook it but, if I were to have some for myself, I'd find out how to do it before hand or, be prepared to be greatly disappointed with the results. It's wild, and as such, has a very strong tang to it.

    Venison is good. Better than beef in my experience.
