Depends on how simple or complex you want to make it. I believe in keeping things simple, but, make sure to have filling foods, whether it be sandwiches and chips or chicken and potato salad and then some sweets.. maybe pickles, drinks, water. Make sure to have some fun things along to do.. even just a few frisbees or balls or just some fun yard games. We love ladder golf. People always like surprises in that picnic basket. Sometimes music is a good thing too!

Yes, I love picnics, and I would bring homemade ginger beer and pumpkin and poppy seed muffins from my own recipe book.

What a lovely question to ponder on.
I already told girlcapitol what I'd bring to her picnic.
Thanks for the daydream opportunity :-)

Never been on a pinic. If so I would surely bring strawberry's dipped in chocolate. Some fresh pineapple cut up. Chicken salad pitas. Some lightly sweetened ice tea with lemon wedges. Perhaps go some where there are trails to go for a walk ( summer picnic by the water) Music would be nice. Maybe some wine for after.
Depends how many people your talking..now if it were a big picnic..which if your talking a cookout? Bren to plenty have had many..thats a wholr different story. Not sure now ehat you mean picnic for seberal people..when i think picnic, i think two people to 4 ..but a whole group I would say let's have a cookout consisting of kaobs, salads, tea, have beer on hand, wine, soda..volley ball net..etc. :-)

A homemade patchwork quilt big enough for everyone to sit on, and handsewn, embroidered napkins for everybody. I'd also bring some instruments for us to make music and dance in the grass. And a bunch of pillows so we can nap out in the fresh air with the sounds of nature and the perfume of the flowers.

I love picnics. I have never been to one with my current boyfriend, but I used to love it with my husband.. I had picnic with him whilst the local band played, and whilst we were along the canal and saw the canal boats float away.. Beautiful memories.
