Years ago I would have said stop but now well if the two of you are happy and getting out of the relationship what the two of you want and need well go with the flow and see where it leads sometimes you can get a nice surprise.

Stop wasting each other's time. What's the point in staying in a dead end relationship? That's like staying in a job where there's no chance of promotion, no chance of a raise.
