Stupid question to MOMS: My little one gets milk all over her blankets at night, and it STINKS, it is disgusting...
How do I get the smell of milk out of these blankets? Washing in HOT water in the washing machine with even TIDE, the strongest cleaning soap, does not work. We use dryer shee[s too. NOTHING works to get this smell out.

Put Dettol ( antiseptic liquid ) in the pre wash cycle and it works a treat . You can also add it in with fabric softener ,
You know the liquid you put on grazes etc . A cap full in the wash .
Dry in the sun , outside .Like (1)

Any antiseptic liquid will do , active ingredient is Benzalkonium Chloride , it's the best laundry find I've ever made . My son has Autism and can't let go of certain blankets , soft toys and still has a bottle at night , I never have to chuck out anything and I used it on his stuff when he was an infant and I feel it's safe to use .Like (1)
