I was in a biology lecture when the professor was mentioning facts regarding cellular metabolism. Somewhere into the lecture, she had gotten something wrong. She said that the cell's enzymes (which mediate all the chemical reactions in the body) stop working when they get too hot - around 50 C. I stood up and told her that that cannot be true, because there was a man named Frank Baker who survived spontaneous human combustion, and a doctor confirmed he had burnt from the inside out - if her statement was true, then spontaneous human combustion would not happen. She stared at me for a good minute, but I can't stand people throwing out false facts.
