Tax rates for the wealthy are the lowest in history. So why isn't the USA swimming in jobs?

Because making jobs means having a business environment that promotes the flow of wealth so that your company can collect that wealth and expand. Profit. The middle class are much more strapped than they used to be, and paying Americans a fair wage to work is more expensive than paying foreigners dirt and then selling the products here. In this way, the middle class is slowly bled dry. At which point the demand levels are suppressed and no jobs are created because of that. It will turn around when we agree to work for dirt as well, or we could try instituting some policies to protect and insulate our market from this sort of thing. The likely result higher prices of goods, but at the same time more jobs to go around.
Tax rates on the wealthy are minimally influential on their decisions to try to make money.Like (2)

No--there is a middle ground-- it's just not in the jobs that used to exist. I could spend all day trying to find someone who can work on my electronics or do my hair or blow my leaves. I spend thirty bucks an hour on some chick to pull my weeds. The jobs are there and if you wanna make more--you gotta be smart. Wicked smart. That's capitalism. I used to clean houses and I did it very well and why I now look for someone to clean my house. And they don't do it very well. Cause capitalism is merely the chance to do whatever. I paid more in September on taxes than I earned in a year, ten years ago. Work--it's the only anodyne. And in capitalism it pays off. Chose another system--I'll thrive in that too, cause that's what I do. Figure it out and make it work. I work. And I see why the wealthy complain so cause most of them worked too. And people today--don't work. Your sweat is the capital in capitalism.

Are talking about athletes who swim? Who are paid professionals? What makes you think they don't pay taxes?

Oh. Hahaha! I don't know the answer. Other than for as much as those people make, they could never actually reduce the debt Obama ran up the last four years. It's laughable that anyone thinks so. No, cutting back spending is more reasonable. Obama blasted Bush for military spending, but what has he done to reduce it? And why send billions of US taxpayer dollars to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt when 40+ million people are on foodstamps? And why does he keep blaming republicans when the republican controlled house turned in a budget the last three years and Obama and his democrat senate couldn't pass one?!?Like (1)

Trickle-down economics didn't work. Greed prevailed.
