MY friend? Hello, nice to meet you, Studmuffin1. You'll soon find that I am a dirty tree-hugging liberal. Ted would not enjoy my company one bit, nor would I care for his. I don't believe the solution to our problem in this country is taking away guns. It's not a good idea. It just isn't, not in the current climate. People will not react well at all, and it's not likely to help one bit. This is my opinion, completely separate from my political leanings. I don't have a problem with gun ownership. I was brought up around them, mostly low caliber shotguns for popping tin cans, but it wasn't that far back, the eighties, when we could play with our bb guns out back without getting the urge to shoot someone out of anger. There is a lot of messed up thinking in this modern society. We are being led to our own downfall, not by the presidents but by the men behind the presidents. I don't mean that in any kooky conspiratorial way, but the president doesn't have anything over big business in this country, and I'd wager 90% of the 99% even realize this. We are being rounded up in the pen of a mighty powerful aristocracy. There is not one political party anyone should trust. They are all in it for the guys paying them the big bucks. None of them care about US, they care about helping the financiers more money and more power. So no, sorry, I don't want responsible gun owners to be punished by having their guns taken away when it's not them who has us angry enough to shoot each other in the first place.
