    A party supply store.
    112 degree summer.
    Crowded outdoor mall.
    Broken air conditioning.
Boss too cheap to fix it.
I lasted a day, my first day was also my last.

My first time working in a clerical setting taking down orders for a call center, I fell asleep on the job.

It was really boring, but it was a combination of both factors. I'd never be cut out for an office job as a career, it's just way too dull.

I wentr to work for a man that hired me to draw stained glass patterns for him.
The first day,he took me to lunch and acted like it was a date.I fired myself shortly thereafter.

that's really awkward. my last job was at a jewelers, and that only lasted a day. he spent too much time on ebay, and not enough time doing orders (so almost every call and walk in was a customer wanting their jewelry back) and he asked me awkward things about my parent (like "she's really pretty. is she married?"). i wanted to work, not take the blame or nag him.

I can't blame you for leaving. The guy that hired me also asked some personal questions. Awkward is putting it mildly.Lol

You will be taken around and to show how things are done. But, do not expect people to hold you hand.

Apologies. I was shown around and left to get on with things. I was qualified and trained in that are so was not a huge issue. Having had practical training helped
