My son is autistic, and he "runs lines" from TV shows that he has watched in the past. <br />
His mind must be an entire warehouse of stored episodes of various shows. <br />
Sometimes, at just the right time, he will quote the perfect line. <br />
He was working with a speech therapist this week, while I observed. About 15 minutes into the session, I could see that he was getting pretty bored. All of a sudden, he looked up at the ceiling and said, "IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE???"<br />
I cracked up. I knew exactly where that had come from....an episode of Bugs Bunny.
