Yes. Back in 1989 I drove home drunk. The next morning was all about the news looking for a hit-and-run driver. The front of my car was dented in and I had no idea why. I turned numb and froze in place seeing this.
As I stared at my car my -- ready to call the police to turn myself in -- neighbor came out and apologized for backing into me, saying she will take care of the damage. The news was looking for a dark colored sedan, and I had a white Mazda RX-7.
This was my wake up call, and I never drove again after ANY amount of alcohol.

In my younger days, yes, drunk, stoned, or otherwise impaired out of my skull. Those days are thankfully long behind me now, so when I'm drinking, etc, I either stay put or give the keys to someone else.
