That awkward moment when you're having an argument and you realize you're wrong. How do you handle it?

I admit that I see something that I didn't see before. I do NOT allow myself to get beat up afterwards because of it. I might say sorry but only ONCE. And I mean it if I hurt someone and I didn't mean to. But I let myself make mistakes because I'm human too. And I don't walk all over people when I find they are wrong, or mistaken, and I don't let others do the same to me.

I admit it. That's how I got from socialism to libertarianism.

I apologize for having misconstrued something.
I try not to enter into arguments that I know I'm not right about though.Like (1)

I have no problen admitting I'm wrong when i know i am, it looks even more stupid when you continue to argue after you know you're wrong. Just say "oh my bad, i thought i was right cause _____________" and that's it, it's not as complicated as it seems..

Keep going, either keep trying to argue with bull **** and hope the other person has enough and leaves or very quickly change the subject.

The type of argument where you've turned to shouting like a child having a temper tantrum? I don't get into those.

you can always cite a misunderstanding of the facts, then agree quickly.
