    I have been married to my husband for 15 years. I have noticed that he always seems to be right there when things go south. One night we were out walking in the dark, and he told me to stop and not move. I about stepped on a snake. I've noticed times when my children have been hurt, he has been there to calm us all down. Like my son stepped on a nail one time. Or when my daughter got her hair caught on the converyer belt of the treadmill and it pulled her under the treadmill. He had to take the treadmill apart to get her hair untangled. It pulled a big bald spot on the back of her head, and gave her a big burn on the top of her forehead. It was one of the scarest things I have witnessed with our children. She was ok and years later you can't even tell she had a scar there. But we have a different treadmill now, one that will shut off if you fall. She was 7. Or when my other child pulled a dresser on top of her. I know it makes me sound like a bad mom, but we were right there when all this happened and it happened faster then the blink of an eye.

    My sunshine is the one I hold within my heart, a special person, one so kind and giving, one who is compassionate, caring, warm and funny. She is so passionate when given the opportunity, so warm, receptive, so adventurous. She reaches me in a way no one else does. She loves the way I love her, she hears the song of my heart, she enjoys the whisper of my name on the wind. She is fast becoming my heart of hearts. And the most special thing of all, she is you.
