That hot spiky, full flush of blood to your head, the queasy feeling in your stomach...
...the steady descent into feeling very light, or weak, or even physically shaking, starting in the jaw or the hands and spreading throughout your body, your teeth possibly even chattering. Then the stirring of the gut and the cold sweat on your brow as your palms get sweaty and your mouth gets dry as your breathing increases, your heart pounding in your chest.
Presuming I've described it as you experience it, how do you process anxiety? What coping mechanisms do you have to bring you through the physical sensations you experience when feeling nervous or receiving embarrassing or unsettling news? If you found out your partner cheated on you, or you were caught cold in a lie for example, how do you gain control of the feelings in your body?

I thought you were talking about bad seafood. . . You don't control your feelings. You survive them.
