    8 track tape went out in the 70's, replaced by cassette tape later to be replaced by compact disc

    Along with its Mood rings, lava lamps, Rubik's cube, Sea Monkeys, smiley face stickers, string art, and pet rocks. It wants to resume streaking and vacationing in station wagons and RV’s with men sporting shoulder length hair and bellbottom pants, hip huggers, colorful patches, hot pants, platform shoes, earth shoes, clogs, T-shirts, and gypsy dresses, knits, denims, leisure suits ankle-length grandmother dresses, hot pants and micro-miniskirts. And it will wait in this hot-tub until its demands are met
