The abortion experience?

I am getting an abrton later on tody it seems like I can't carry to term and so my best decision would be to terminate. I feel really sad these my last moments with my lo and I just feel anxious. But how bad is the procedure itself? Like was it ok and like aybe afterwards I might greive or is the whole process? I just am worried what if the instruments tear at me and like I die or something I just have always had a lot of fears on this could someone tell me like is it really that bad or wat?

oh yea I'm 19 wks along so I dunno wondering about others around that time so yea..

It is a medical proceedure and you have some risk. You have to weight the risk with the benifits. They will take care of you. You will greive. A death is like that. Loss.

I had one but it was so long ago I'm sure things have changed now. It hurt a bit, but not a lot. The worst part was the anxiety that any second it would hurt really bad, so I was very, very tense. It didn't take very long. I was in the recovery area for a little over an hour and I was pretty much okay. I was very hungry because I hadn't been able to keep any food down for weeks (I lost a lot of weight), so got some food (which stayed down), and drove myself home. I had to be really careful for the next 6 weeks - no baths, no swimming - no submersion in anything that might lead to infection. But I didn't have any complications.

I am glad you are doing the right thing.. The doctor knows what he is doing. You will have some pain after but thet will give you something for that. It is gonna take some time for you to get over the loss but in time you will feel like new. I wish you all the Luck and all the Best...

Those are professional people, love, relax, they should ask you to come back in a few days to see if everything's ok.

I can't see the details but if you're asking what it's like...i felt really uncomfortable and exposed. i asked for a female to do the procedure...but i still felt weird. then it kind of hurt after. you have to take antibiotics afterwords and make sure to take them...the risks of an infection are high otherwise...for me that's how it was at least. then you can't swim for three weeks and you should rest a lot for the first week. butmost of all.. a lot of REGRET
