    Sincerely. Respectfully. In a private place, so that she doesn't feel awkward.
    And hopefully, with a certain amount of confidence that the other person loves you too and is ready to say "yes".

    I kind of like the idea of asking someone to marry you in the place where you first met, or some other place that means something to both of you.
