I am pretty sure he is mentally ill.

Best Answer

No doubt- I just was wondering what "pie" he thinks is out there?

Best Answer

why not? why should the press make money off his story while he's still homeless, hungry and poor?

Best Answer

I have been informed in tis thread that he has a home in brooklyn and refuses help

Best Answer

and the parasites are feeding off him

Best Answer

and encouraging this?

Best Answer

well if he is a Vet, then he should go to the commandor and get what is owed.

Best Answer

My guess is he lacks the mental wherewithall

Best Answer

Well, I'm sure the media profited out of the story. they wouldn't have done it if they didn't. They didn't ask him and they used his image. I imagine he has a right to some of the profit - don't you? Or can the media just come along and use your image for profit and not ask, compensate you?

Best Answer

Not if it is deemed "fair use".

Best Answer

according to whom? I can see someone defending the homeless bloke against the media. I thought fair use would take into account the disparity between the user and the used.

Best Answer

According to the Federal Judge applying all appicable parts of the copyright law

Best Answer

Fair use. is that something like the 15% on investment income?

shoes ....not enough

Best Answer

Wait- he wants more shoes?

Best Answer

He can go fúck himself, the ungrateful greedy ásshole.

Best Answer

He's a combat vet

Best Answer

He's still being ungrateful and greedy.

Best Answer

Do you allow any kindness for the mentally ill in your answers?

Best Answer

I wonder how ungrateful & greedy he was in war?

Best Answer

I allow kindness, yes. I don't appreciate people digging for more money after someone made a gesture of kindness. Being a war veteran still doesn't change his current actions, that's a plea for pity and possibly commits the fallacy argumentum ad passiones. Come now Ms. Lawyer :P

Best Answer

Do you think he understands his actions? He walks NY's cold streets barefoot

Best Answer

I don't know if he does. He is obviously of a mind sound enough to reason that he deserves money for being shown on the news.

Best Answer

Hey! Isn't this what he went to war for: The American Dream

Best Answer

Another appeal :P
He went to war for the American Dream, yes. I don't think this can be expanded into a larger matter, but really, it's because our country doesn't take care of its troops.
He is still, in this situation, being ungrateful for the kindness shown to him.

Best Answer

or are we ungrateful to him?

Best Answer

In the larger picture, perhaps the federal government could be considered ungrateful for his service. As individuals, we are not ungrateful because we generally have no way of knowing who did what before they ended up on the streets.

Best Answer

who did what?
