There will never be a perfectly good or bad world, because the very idea is a contradiction in terms. The great secret revealed by this analysis is that good and bad are not two cut-and-dried, separate existences. There is not one thing in this world of ours which you can label as good and good alone, and there is not one thing in the universe which you can label as bad and bad alone. The very same phenomenon which is appearing to be good now, may appear to be bad tomorrow. The same thing which is producing misery in one, may produce happiness in another. The fire that burns the child, may cook a good meal for a starving man.

We may verily imagine that there will be a place where there will be only good and no evil, where we shall only smile and never weep. This is impossible in the very nature of things; for the conditions will remain the same. Wherever there is the power of producing a smile in us, there lurks the power of producing tears. Wherever there is the power of producing happiness, there lurks somewhere the power of making us miserable.

The internet, an evil tool used by the elites to keep track of the sheeple and used by the dark forces to lure you into forbidden sins. And it all looks soooo innocent with pretty pictures, fun games, smiley emoticons and chances to win so called prizes. user beware.

I like being able to contact my son who is a Marine aboard a ship far away. But I am concerned about the addictiveness and people everywhere, are hooked up to the www.
I asked a doctor from India a question because I could not get a straight answer from mine and I found the answer to my question. He had to go before a review board of other doctors before his answer could be submitted. Wow, I was more than impressed

I think it's a curse designed to keep everybody inside their homes so we are all under control. Examples, Internet Banking, Internet Shopping Skype, Email, On line movies we don't need to leave the house.

it's a curse. you just don't give idiots explicit instructions on how to make weapons... there's a reason that making them is hard. it's to keep the idiots from having them... The Internet is the idiot's best friend...

I don't know about "from the gods" but it's a gift... Speaking as a student, there is no better resource than the Internet. Sure there is crap out there, but generally if you know where to look you can find the question to anything you ever need to know fact wise. Speaking as a mom, it's a life saver when I need to know something about parenting, or just if I need a little support now and then from another parent.

But the real gift is what it provides for us as humans... We can now connect like never before. I have friends around the world now who I never would have met without the Internet. I have glimpses into other cultures that better help me understand and even appreciate other beliefs and events like never before. I can shop around the world in markets never available to me.

Sure you get ****, gambling, Internet crime... But these things can be controlled and the benefits far outweigh these things.

I think it can be either.Think of the children who will find things that will change them.Think of the adults joy...A double edged sword.

A gift for some and a curse for others. For some it can make doing multiple tasks, especially ones that require going a distance, fast and easy, like checking up on a family member, which you can do on Facebook. For some a curse, because they spend more time trying to figure out how to make it work, then making it work for them.... or they got a virus on their PC... which speaks for itself.
