Perhaps only in that vain people often think everything's about them...

Hey, Carly Simon has never written a song about me - probably because I'm perfect!

Best Answer

Yes, I need a better song.

It was a song be Carly Simon who was married to James Taylor...and she wrote it about Mick Jager of the rolling stones mid 70's

Was that clouds in her coffee..or grinds?

Best Answer

She could be referring to another song that he thinks is about him. ..... I love the song though.

Best Answer

Wait..... What??

Best Answer

Completely the opposite of what I took it to mean. Yeah the song was about him and he would know it. But he would take it as a compliment and not the diss it was meant to be.

<<-- was about me was about me was about meeeeeeeeeee

I'm not sure this makes sense!

You're all reading into this all wrong. Vain can also mean without real significance, value, or importance; ba<x>seless or worthless. Imagine being so stupid that you think someone would spend time writing a song about you :) I think Simon was using a double entendre for this song.
