heh, reading on the Soviet Union online is like trying to know the truth about the U.S.A. through the Fox News twitter.

Take it from me, my whole family was from the Soviet Union: in the 60's, 70's and 80's, you had a free house put by the state, free electricity, gas, water and basic food rations, if you wanted something else, electronics or a car, that was on your salary. There was no "celebrity culture", no one worshipped the rich and both education and healthcare was universal. Not so bad now, huh?
