ammo is addressed in the judicial branch of our government and again in our states and localities. the general drift, is that its not provided for, but its outlined to be legal possessions undera limited amount, otherwise its considered an arsenal. The general fear is someone can hold up and hold out for a time with adequate ammo i guess.

so over a certain amount, is illegal. A normal clip in an ar-15 is acceptable, but a banana clip is outlawed.

the rifles, can only be modified in certain ways, before they too become assault oriented.

I think the founding fathers didn't care, seeing how we'd just melt down our silverware to make musket balls anyway.

Not really sure what your point is..But i do believe ammo falls under the right to keep and bear arms.. but what does ammo have to do with it.. You own a rifle that shoots 5.56 mm which is basically the same thing as a 223 round.. Citizens can't but hollow points or armor piercing rounds, so with ammo it really has little to do with assault rifles or a hunting rifle, if they load the same size, doesn't matter.

You don't need ammo for a pair of bear arms, silly goose.
