If we consider that we (ourselves) are not pefect, then this gets us halfway there. What *does* make a person perfect is in how they match together. 'Perfect' is 'warts included', so we have to consider that along with perect we *accept* the flaws. Pefection, literally, doesn't exist because what one person sees to be perfection isn't what another would; pefection itself is highly subjective in just about *every* area of life. In different wordsm it can be said this way: "'Perfect' is as perfect as perfect can be for *you*",, and that rule applies to anyone and everyone.
Relationships can be fickle. One might leave because they truly believe they have found a better person / partner; another might leave on a whim, thinking that the relationship they are in is stangnant and so *any* move is for the better. But at the end of the day, none are perfect and the ones who see another as 'perfect' is essentially saying the person is as perfect as can be for *them*.
Concession is accepting a person for who they are (warts included) and the greatest loves have their own set of issues, it's in how they deal with them that their love is measured. Giving no concessions, at all, is (as you say) a bit selfish and ultimately won't lead to a 'perfect' partner.
Work on concession? That makes nonsense. What are you really asking? Or is this a declarative statement?
