Buy some earbuds and put them in :D
Does he have an annoying strut as well?
now is not a good time to mention killing
Why don't you just tell him it's distracting when he talks so loud. He might not even know he's being that loud.
That's a shame. It's hard enough to work in the best of situations, you shouldn't have to have to deal with that too.
How about talking to your supervisor in private and ask what he or she would suggest is done about it. If this is a problem for you, it might be to someone else too.
so for Christmas buy everyone ear plugs except him.......buy him a muzzle
put a sticky type on his mouth
Some people grew up in big families, and loud is just another word for being involved in the conversation! Let him know that it annoys you... Say it in a nice way though!!
What really bothers you about him? It must be something else.
Hmm... Usually someone that feels the need to have to be treated above others has an inferiority complex and they create this false sense of security to try and feel more adequate. You should feel sorry for him at best. Maybe try to get to know him. He might turn out to be a good friend when he let's his guard down.
