This is harsh, but I think as we get older we become more aware of the selfishness and ignorance of other people. We are more aware of peoples intentions. Our bad experiences lay judgement faster then when we were young.
Not true for me , learning through my wisdom from living has helped me forgive and forget when and if I decide to .. my one word of wisdom is that you never forget , because that is what keeps you from repeating same mistakes over and over ..
but also harder to remember.
