I finally felt like i was worth something. if you have anyone, even just talking to someone on ep, talk to them. talking actually helps. life does get better, when you least expect it too. Just stay strong.

I'm sorry to hear that. You obviously don't want to go threw with it, and it's obvious considering you made this post. I don't know what's causing you you're pain, but no matter what it is the mind has an amazing capability to move past it. Let yourself think of positive things that make you feel good. Get in a habit of that, and life will get better. Talk to your friends and family about your though. If you simply feel depressed, and it feels like it takes too much energy to feel happy you should consider seeing a psychiatrist. HUGS!

Focus on 'thinking about living'... what do you need to live a full live. Whatever it is, do it. A lot of people are miserable. Just look around on some of the posts from here... but you don't have to be too. I say do whatever it is you need to in order to find a bearable life. I had to completely re-do my entire life (job, location, friend circle, even the way I look)... but all those changes gave me time to rethink. I am glad I didn't follow through on those dark thoughts I had. I think making some big changes will help you too. People will tell you that those things don't matter, and the real pain is within you... maybe that is true... idk, I am not a psychologist... and maybe when all the excitement of my new life wears off, I might feel depressed again. But for now, I am alive and happy. So, I think it's worth it. Oh...and remember... you don't have to do or be anything you don't want to. People will tell you that you have responsibilities or that you have to be this or that... but **** those people. It's YOUR life... live it as you want!

It's never as bad as people make it look sometimes. People can be very mean and cruel but you have to overcome that and show them that you are stronger.

Just depressed. Seems like if I weren't here all the problems will go away for me. Kind of selfish, but I guess I am.

Here as in on EP, or here as in on this planet? It's not selfish. It's just a passing thought as long as you don't act on it. You think everyone goes through life without thinking about death and how easy it is? EVERYONE wants the easy way out. Difference between everyone and you is that you're open and talking about it, which is fine. But see, talk about it. Open up. Say it all. Out loud. See how that feels. It's like stripping yourself naked and bare to the world. Then ask yourself if you still want to die that bad.

could be a copper inbalance, something completely and easily treatable. youll need to be tested for your copper levels. sometimes it medical problems that cause depression. or even vitamin deficiencies, vitamin b12 helped me, the sublingual kind. My daughter was so depressed one day and I was worried, she took a b12 and in 5 min she was laughing and felt much better! get checked out thouroughly by a medical Dr. the psychiatrists dont test for medical probs before they put people on meds they may not even need.
