Dolly is one of the most genuine personalities that ever sang into a microphone in hopes of making it big at the grand old opry and she has 34 gold records, Elvis had 45 so that tells you pretty much where she rates in the all time music scale. She's been married to the same man for 45 years, and she is a songwriter, actor, philanthropist, and has her own theme park for Gawd's sake. How could anyone have a bad word to say about the girl with the coat of many colors? Jolene is still one of my all time favorite oldies I grew up listening to on the radio along with islands in the stream (written by the Gibb brothers). Kenny Rogers is the one who got the bad face stretch job LOL!!! I still remember the the look on Johnny Carson's face when Dolly hit his set the first time, his eyes couldn't stay on her face and he admitted that it was hard to interview her because her "assets were so big".

I love her.
She is from my hometown, and she has done so much for the people and the schools there. She is always friendly, never snobby, and I like her music too. What a little sweetheart!
