    No, Yes, and Yes.

I went to Catholic school. To graduate you needed to pass a very extensive final on the Bible. Old Testament and New.

The Bible has laws about how to treat your slaves, how much to sell your daughter for, when to stone women for having sex, etc. In fact, the entire Bible is racist. The Jews are God's chosen people? So all other races are not? So Jews are special above all other races, eh? The ones who "hold dominion" over the Earth? Sounds a lot like a master race to me. How is that NOT racism?

The Bible has a horrible, reprehensible, and evil morality that is anything BUT moral. It's an evil book that has inspired untold ills and will continue to do so until we shed these silly superstitions about magic men and talking animals and such.

No, the Bible is not moral. Not even close. Not by a longshot.

I went to a Catholic school too! At least our school was honest about the Bible and told us one creation story was based off of the Babylonian myth.

There are parts of the Bible that are a good moral code to follow, but not all of it. If everybody followed the Golden Rule and WWJD though, the world would be a better place.

Does the Mormon Church have additional holy books or is it added to the Bible like the other ones are?

I do believe it's a good moral code to follow (for the most part).
    I've read parts of it.
I haven't read the whole thing yet...I'm almost not sure if I want to, because I know it's only a translation, and some of it won't be correct. :/

No. Yes. Sort of, not Mark and Luke I think they're the same as Mathew.

You can pull out some good quotes from the bible. But to use as a moral code, not me. I hate when people say "because the bible says so". I like to discus morality and argue. but if the other side's arguments is base on the authority of the bible then I dont bother.
